It is extracted by pressing the castor seeds that are colorless to extremely pale yellow color liquid with light and no scent or taste. This oil has an uncommon chemical composition the triglyceride in which 90% of fatty acid stores are ricinoleate. Aside from this fatty acid, there are other extremely significant components that can be found in castor oil like oleat and linoleates. These chemical compounds available in the oil offer a lot of uses to humans.

The castor plant springs up abundantly in a native to tropical climates. It can grow up 30 to 40 ft high in its natural habitat. A lot of castor plants can be found in the Southern United States, most of these grow in the river banks and streams. In India and Brazil, this is their major crop earning. 1.  Induce Labor – Castor oil is well-known to induce labor in pregnant women who have difficulty in delivering their baby. It is typically effective for women who are giving birth which it functions to induce bowels. It can cause cramping and tightening in the bowel which may spread to the woman's uterus, leading and encouraging contractions.

You can use the oil if you are 40 weeks of pregnancy and showing indications of labor because it will boost your chances to have an effective and easy labor induction.

2. Cure Skin Problems – Castor oil can be used as a relaxing ointment or personal lubricant for people who have skin problems. It can be used for curing sunburn or open sore, stretch mark, dry skin and acne. It is also effective for treating athlete’s foot, warts, chronic itching and warts.
